Check out this refreshing departure from Boucher's more traditional work with a walk on the wilder side. The three piece set, circa 1961, features entwined tree branches complete with textured bark and smooth and spiraled knots. A botanical twist that's as fresh and fashionable as when created.
The parure includes a link necklace, with it's extra extension link intact, allowing the necklace to be worn in either a 15 1/2 inches or 16 1/2 inches length with two integrated fold over clasps. Width is about 3/4 inch. The matching brooch measures in at about 1 3/4 inches x 1 5/8 inches with a 5/8 inch profile. Completing the parure is a pair of clip earrings at approximately 1 inch x 1 inch. Weight of the three piece set is about 118 grams.
Condition is excellent / pristine vintage. All components original and intact. All silvertone finishes intact, front and back of all pieces. Necklace clasps, pin back and earring clips strong and secure. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs. Pristine vintage.
Each piece is signed and / or numbered. One of the necklace's end links is signed "Boucher". The opposite end link is signed with the design or inventory number "8277N". The brooch back is signed "Boucher" and "8277P". One earring back is signed "Boucher", the other "8277E". (Some Boucher pieces, as the in the set presented, included the letters N for necklace, P for Pin and E for earrings.) The parure dates circa 1961.
