Autumnal citrine, orange and deep topaz colors blaze in this mid century rhinestone pendant brooch in gold tone. The shield portion features a center oval rhinestone in deep golden topaz surrounded by blasts of chaton rhinestones in sunset orange and citrine yellow. The pair of citrines are reminiscent of old mine cut stones with characteristic faceting and large flat tables. An oval pendant framed in textured gold tone and set with a complementing topaz colored rhinestone, dangles.
The brooch measures approximately 2 4/8 inches (including dangle) x 2 inches with a 3/8 inch profile or height. Oval rhinestones are about 18 millimeters x 13 millimeters; largest chaton rhinestones, 11 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is 26.0 grams.
