Trifari's stylized flower and leaf jewelry from it's "Trifanium Period" circa 1950s-1960s imbues a certain exuberant flair. Tastefully executed forms in the company's signature silver or gold tone Trifanium finish often include elongated and / or exaggerated effects. Rhinestones were liberally used as accents for stems, petals, leaves and blossoms. Trifari's classic jewelry styles from this period remain fashionable, often wearable from am to pm.
The brooch presented in golden satin finish Trifanium features pierced leafy petals, edged with delicate roping. The single stem is finished in lustrous gold tone. At center a spray of brilliant, clear marquise rhinestones shoots up and out -- glorious in it's sweeping grandeur. As with many of it's counterparts from this era, the brooch is equally at home day or night.
The brooch measures nearly 3 inches (2 7/8 inches) x 2 inches at it's widest point with a maximum 3/8 inch profile or height. Marquise rhinestones are about 8 millimeters x 4 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is 27.1 grams.
