In one of our more unusual brooch offerings, textured iridescent marquise rhinestones coordinate with conventional marquise and chaton rhinestones in pink, blue, citrine, peridot, olivine green, cabernet red, and aurora borealis shades. At center of the circular brooch, four high rise metal flowers blossom, petals enameled in golden edged yellow. Each is centered with a sparkling chaton aurora borealis rhinestone. At center of blossom quartet a scallop set chaton rhinestone in cabernet red glows. Magnificent textures, colors, metal work and enameling abound in this marvelous mid century beauty.
The brass tone brooch measures approximately 2 1/2 inches across with a maximum 1/2 inch profile or height. Marquise rhinestones are about 15 millimeters x 7 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is a generous 36.8 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components original an intact. All rhinestones intact, retaining colors, textures, select ab treatments, brilliance and iridescence. Wonderful colors and coordination. No dents or improper bends to metal work. Enameling intact. All soldering secure. Brass tone finish has developed a patina -- no polishing done. Pin mechanism strong and secure. Clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
