Orange Lucite cabochon shields arm this delightful '50s-'60s vintage necklace and earrings ensemble by the great Coro. Each cab is embedded with flecks of golden foil and patches of varying shades of orange. Shields are separated with golden spike like javelins. The necklace features cabochons set the entire visible length, allowing adjustment via extension chain and hook closure. The bracelet positions shields back to back allowing us the width we all love. A fold over clasp secures.
The necklace is adjustable to about 16 inches. Decorative portions spans approximately 11 1/4 inches x 3/4 inch wide. Bracelet is about 6 1/8 inches x 1 1/2 inches x 1/4 inch thick. Shield cabs are about 16 millimeters x 14 millimeters. Weight of the necklace and bracelet set is 112.5 grams.
Condition is excellent / very good vintage. All components original and intact. All cabs intact, retaining consistent color, treatment and luster. No glue residue or discoloration. All links aligned and secure. No dents or improper bends to metal components. There is some gold tone finish loss to necklace extension chain, hook end chain and reverse of bracelet clasp and male end link. All spike and connection components gold tone finish intact. Necklace closure and bracelet clasp strong and secure. Clean. No damage / no repairs. Finish issues as noted and reflected in price. Excellent vintage / very good vintage.
