Break out the blues with Schreiner's high profile domed delight. The mid century brooch begins at base with a circle of slant set brilliant blue chatons and marquise rhinestones. A ring of luminescent faux opal cabochons skirts, replete with wonderful golden flecking. A diamond shaped layer follows, sparkling with rhinestone chatons, the two largest in exquisite dentelle faceting. At peak a dazzling rhinestone marquise crowns. Metal finish is in pewter tone, a Schreiner favorite.

The oval brooch measures approximately 2 inches x 1 7/8 inches with a 3/4 inch profile or dome. Large marquise is about 15 millimeters x 7 millimeters; dentelle chatons, 7 millimeters; faux opals, 7 millimeters x 5 millimeters and base marquises, 9 millimeters x 5 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is 22.9 grams.

Condition is excellent / near pristine vintage. All components original and intact. All pronged glass rhinestones / cabochons free from chips, nicks, cracks or breaks. All retain consistent, as created color. Rhinestones maintain premium sparkle. Simulated opal cabs display extraordinary luminescence, turquoise blue color and golden flecking. Beautifully coordinated. No dents, improper bends or crush to metal components. All pewter tone finish intact, front and back. Pin mechanism straight, strong and secure. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs. Near pristine vintage.

The brooch is unsigned Schreiner. Revere features tapered cup settings, hook and eye assemblage and correct pin components, placement and attachment. Signature Schreiner specialty stones, design and finish complete the picture. Circa 1960s.
