Volutes, sprays and ribbons of blue baguette and chaton rhinestones encrust these showstopping antiqued gold tone Hollycraft climber clip earrings, dated 1955. After 65+ years of service they continue sparkle gloriously, commanding attention and admiration decades down the road. Along with many costume jewelers of the day, Hollycraft tapped into the trend that more was better and bling was king. The golden age survives and thrives thanks to collectors who understood and appreciated it's value.
The earrings measure an astounding approximate 1 3/4 inches x 1 1/8 inches at their widest point with a 1/2 inch profile or height. Largest chaton rhinestones are about 6 millimeters; baguettes, 4 millimeters x 2 millimeters and larger chaton accent rhinestones, 2 millimeters. Weight of the earrings pair is a substantial 25.6 grams.

Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. All rhinestones intact, retaining color and brilliance. No chips, nicks, cracks or breaks to stones. No dents or improper bends to metal components. Antiqued gold tone finish intact, with some minor contact wear on reverse only. Original clips strong and secure. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs. Although nearing 70, the earrings present beautifully and brilliantly. Excellent vintage.
Reverse of one earring body is signed: "HOLLYCRAFT" and "COPR. 1955".
