A trio of arms reach out and touch in this wonderfully colorful '70s vintage gold tone trefoil shield style brooch with clustered center. Arms feature topaz colored marquise art glass centers (unfoiled and oped backed) bordered with topaz and avocado chaton rhinestones. At cruxes, burnt orange chatons glisten. Center of brooch beckons with an applied cluster of chaton rhinestones in topaz, citrine, avocado and orange. Sensational color combination and coordination.
The brooch measures a generous approximate 2 5/8 inches with a 1/2 inch profile or height. Art glass marquises are about 15 millimeters x 7 millimeters; largest chatons, 8 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is 24 grams.
Condition is excellent / near pristine vintage. All components original and intact. All rhinestones intact and brilliant, retaining color and clarity. No chips, nicks, cracks or breaks to stones. All secure within pronged settings. No dents or improper bends to metal components. All gold tone finish intact, front and back. Reverse of brooch includes soldered support or reinforcement bar.
