Eight embellished stickpins grace Goldettte's distinctive Victorian revival '50s-'60s vintage gold tone bow brooch. A serpentine textured stylized bow bound with rhinestone center sprouts an octet of spikes tipped with four various flowers, a bee, bow, snake and cameo. Rhinestones, tiny glass beads and faux pearls add sparkle, color and luster. Although this example is unsigned, the design, materials and construction are signature Goldette of New York.
The brooch measures a substantial 2 7/8 inches x 2 inches. Weight is approximately 20 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. All stick pins straight and securely soldered to bow base. All embellishment materials intact, retaining colors, sparkle and luster. Gold tone finish intact, front and back. Slight bend to pin shaft not affecting function. Pin mechanism secure. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
