Ciner blurs the lines of faux and fine with it's phenomenal '50s-'60s vintage rhinestone encrusted necklace and earrings set. The company began producing fine jewelry in the late 1800s and included costume in 1931. Ciner's fine designs often crossover to faux provoking one to wonder...is it real or it is reimagined.
The gold tone choker style necklace presented imbues a slinky, sinewy feel due to it's materials and construction. The curved bar rhinestones links are snugly strung on a pair of flexible rope chains lending an incredibly luxurious fit and feel. Wraps beautifully about the neck. An integrated rhinestone set push in box clasp secures. Matching domed, rhinestone button style clip earrings complement. A version of this set can be seen in Julia C. Carroll's "Collecting Costume Jewelry 202".
The necklace is a fixed approximate 15 inches x 7/16 inch wide x 3/16 inch thick. Earrings are about 7/8 inches across with a 3/8 inch dome. Accent clear chaton rhinestones average approximately 2 millimeters. Weight of the necklace and earrings set is 98 grams.
