Gorgeous Cornflower blue large oval rhinestones grace this shimmering 1950s-1960s vintage Lisner necklace and earrings set in swirls of silvertone. Cornflower blue chaton, as well as aurora borealis chaton rhinestones accent throughout. The blue glass oval stones have very large tables with beveled edges for maximum color saturation and coverage. The stones focus on rich color over brilliance. The ab rhinestones add the twinkle, directing your attention to the ovals. The silvertone swirls have fine striations, ending with a highly polished curled edge -- a traditional Lisner design favorite.
The demi includes the necklace, adjustable to about 16 inches with charmed extension tail and hook style closure. Decorative center spans approximately 8 1/2 inches with a 5/8 inch width. Blue oval stones are about 9 millimeters x 6 millimeters. Matching clip earrings are approximately 7/8 inch across. Weight of the demi is about 58 grams.
Condition is good to excellent vintage. (Reverse has some wear to the silvertone finish but front is excellent.) All stones original and intact. Gorgeous uniform cornflower blue color. Rhinestones retain ab finish, color and brilliance. Front silvertone finishes intact. There is some contact wear on silvertone finish on reverse of necklace (not visible on front) and on the hook closure. Earrings retain silvertone finish on fronts and backs. Earring clips strong and secure. No damage / no repairs.
Each original earring is signed on clip with "LISNER", copyright symbol follows and on the necklace hook "LISNER", copyright symbol precedes.
