Rarely have we seen Eisenberg foray into resin, thermoset or if you will, plastic components. The earrings presented, circa 1950s, spotlight large baroque style iridescent yellow marbleized thermoset button cabochons. Each is surrounded by a ring of clear chaton rhinestones. The clip earrings are richly plated in rhodium. Rhinestones are prong set; metal components attached via soldering and interestingly, screws.
The earrings measure approximately 1 inch across with a generous 9/16 inch profile or height. Yellow cabs are about 17 millimeters; rhinestones, 4 millimeters. Weight of the earrings pair is 14 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. All rhinestones uniformly clear and brilliant. No dark, yellow, gray, cloudy or dead stones. No chips, nicks, cracks or breaks to stones. Resin button beads retain light yellow chiffon color, iridescence and luster. Rhodium plate intact, fronts and backs. Prongs, soldering and screw attachments strong and secure. Clips strong and secure. Clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
Reverse of each earring is signed on clip attachment bar: "EISENBERG" no copyright symbol visible. Circa 1950s.
