Termed milk or chalk glass and referred to as summer, cruise or seasonal, white glass jewelry came into it's own in the 1950s-1960s.. Rhinestones often added accent. Kramer of New York tapped into the trend and provided milk glass jewelry of all kinds to it's clientele.
The molded or poured glass flower blossom earrings presented, circa 1950s, feature five gold tone frame set pear shaped milk glass "petals" surrounding a ring of clear chaton rhinestones. At center a single white glass bead punctuates. Earrings secure via French clip backs.
The earrings measure a generous approximate 1 1/2 inches across with a 1/2 inch profile or height. Petals are about 13 millimeters x 10 millimeters; center beads, 6 millimeters. Weight of the earrings pair if 20 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. All rhinestone intact and brilliant. No cloudy or dead stones. All white glass petals and beads free from chips, nicks, cracks, breaks or stains. All uniformly white and lustrous. No dents or improper bends to metal components. Gold tone finish intact, fronts and backs. Very minimal finish wear to clip paddles. French clips strong and secure. Clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
