Coro's high end Vendome line (circa 1944-1979) created some of the most beautiful and well executed designs of the time. Much of this was due to it's long time head designer Helen Marion. Vendome's standard of excellence can be seen in the quality materials used and the professional workmanship employed.
In the adjustable screw / clip back earrings presented clusters of faceted glass beads in blue and aurora borealis set the stage. A pair of gold tone rosettes accented with cornflower blue and ice blue rhinestones top each earring. All components are wired onto a pierced metal disk, camouflaged with a gold tone filigree cover plate. Vendome's oft seen adjustable screw / clip earrings secure.
The gold tone button style earrings measure approximately 1 inch across with a generous 1/2 inch profile or height. Largest glass crystals are about 8 millimeters. Weight of the earrings pair is 20 grams.
