In signature sweeping, scrolling style of the Art Moderne movement, sterling silver flower blossoms dotted with blue glass stones and large leafy foliage spray from a knotted, looped slash of ribbon. Center of blossoms are set with a dentelle faceted chaton surrounded by smaller blue chatons. Characteristic 1940s materials, methods and manipulation. Beautifully worked with a light, airy presentation this brooch is perfect in any tense.

The bouquet brooch measures a very generous approximate 4 3/4 inches x 3 1/4 inches at it's widest point with a 1/4 inch thickness or height. Dentelle faceted chatons are about 8 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is 20 grams.

Condition is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. All blue glass stones retain color and sparkle. Blossoms remain securely riveted to framework. All sprays, stems and foliage free from dents or improper bends. All soldering secure. Patina intact. As preferred by most buyers, no polishing done. Pin mechanism secure. Clean. No damage / no repairs. Age commensurate patina -- minimal wear. Excellent vintage.

The brooch is signed on reverse: "STERLING". No other markings apparent. Circa 1940s.
