Distinctive vintage West German filigree design features three center panels embellished with lavender enamel mist flower blossoms set with purple chaton rhinestones. Additional purple and aurora borealis chaton rhinestones, as well as metal beading and coiling decorate center three filigree panels and two smaller side panels. Bilateral chain links consist of metal beads and filigree cages. Rhinestone charmed chain extension end is secured by a long armed hook. Unmistakable Western Germany style and substance, circa 1950s-1960s.
The necklace is adjustable to about 17 inches with charmed extension end and hook closure. Five decorative center panels span approximately 5 inches x 1 inch at it's widest point with a 1/2 inch maximum profile or height. Largest purple and ab rhinestones are 6 millimeters. Weight of the necklace is about 22 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. All rhinestones intact and brilliant, retaining color and ab finish. Enamel mist intact. No dents or improper bends to metal components. The necklace links and panels do show touches of silver tone and brass tone patina -- common in Western Germany filigree materials of this time.
No polishing has been done -- metal finishes are as found. No damages / no repairs. Clean. Excellent vintage.
