Wonderful 1920s-1930s vintage panel bracelet shows all the substance and style of a bygone era. Five plated pot metal links complete with patina (we think the bracelet originally had a gilt finish) showcase textured camellia shrubs with blossoms, buds, foliage and branches. The center three links sparkle with beautifully faceted, icy blue unfoiled and open backed oval art glass stones. A box clasp secures.
The bracelet measures approximately 7 inches x 1 inch with a 3/8 inch profile or thickness. Oval glass stones are about 11 millimeters x 10 millimeters. Weight of the bracelet is a generous 50 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. All stones free from chips, nicks, cracks or breaks. All secure within heavy pronged settings. Panel links secure and aligned with original oval double connector links No dents, improper bends or crush to panels. Push in box clasp strong and secure. Patina intact with gilt finish apparent showing consistent age appropriate wear revealing silvery base pot metal. Clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
The bracelet is not signed. Design, materials, construction and workmanship suggest an early vintage -- 1920s-1930s.
