From the workshop of Cini, Taurus the bull emerges with all it's strength and substance in this wonderful vintage brooch from the company's astrological line. The banner below the bull reads: "TAURUS", the zodiac sign for those born between certain dates in April / May.
After patriarch Guglielmo's death in 1979 the family operated business continued. Since 1922 it's classic themes executed with romantic flourish have proven consistently popular with it collectors.

The textured, dimensional sterling brooch presented measures approximately 2 inches x 2 inches with a maximum 1/4 inch profile or height. Weight of the brooch is about 18 grams.

Condition is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. No dents, improper bends or crush. Pin mechanism strong and secure. Patina intact. Polishing, as preferred by most, is left to the buyer's discretion. Clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.

Reverse of the brooch is signed within a rectangular cartouche in block caps: "STERLING" and in script "Cini". Copyright symbol precedes. Post 1955.
