Glamour at it's greatest. Albert Weiss was one of the preeminent makers of glitzy rhinestone jewelry during it's nearly three decade reign, circa 1942-1971.. One may remember it's marketing promotions: the "Black Diamond Look" and "Long Stemmed Beauties", as well as it's array of rhinestone Christmas tree pins. In Weiss' world, everyone could abandon the doldrums for the drama.
The silver tone bracelet presented, circa 1950s-1960s, features eight rows of pronged, sparkling clear chaton rhinestones secured with a box clasp and detachable safety chain. The bracelet is fully articulated for fit and flexibility and strategically soldered for stability and strength. It measures approximately 7 inches x 1 1/2 inches wide with a 1/8 inch height. Chatons are about 4 millimeters. Weight of the bracelet is approximately 60 grams.
