Distinctive by design. Whether Weiss or Eisenberg, the jury's still out as both makers utilized similar designs with signature ribbon or icing stones, charismatic color choices in pink and fuchsia and reverse finishes plated in creamy gold tone, akin to rhodium. Large chatons and single marquise are in pink; medium chatons in fuchsia. Crescent flourish overlay is paved in small fuchsia chaton rhinestones. Both companies are known to have unsigned works during this brooch's early '70s vintage.
The brooch measures approximately 2 inches x 1 5/8 inches with a 1/2 inch profile or height. Large chatons are about 8 millimeters; medium chatons, 6 millimeters and marquise, 15 millimeters x 7 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is 20 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. All rhinestones intact with no chips, nicks, cracks or breaks, retaining colors and brilliance. No dents or improper bends to metal components. All lustrous golden plate intact, front and back. All soldering secure. Pin mechanism strong and secure. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
