Massive and magnificent. Selro pulls out all the stops in it's '50s vintage Lucite confetti cabochon and sparkling rhinestone link bracelet in antiqued silver tone. Four huge Lucite cabs in a turquoise shade infused with golden flecks rest in beds of heavily textured foliage, squared with Selro's signature embossed and back braced framework. Two sizes of aqua blue chaton rhinestones accent throughout. A silvery floral and foliage engraved fold over clasp secures.
Named in honor of his mother Rose, Paul Selenger formed the Selro Corporation in the 1940s. Known for it's Asian princess, Noh mask, confetti cabochon and bolo designs, Selro's work encompassed the best of what costume was all about -- the more, the merrier. It's Selini division, developed a bit later, excelled in creative color combinations. The companies flourished until the great costume collapse of the 1970s.
The bracelet measures approximately 7 inches long with fold over clasp x 1 5/8 inches wide with a maximum profile or height of 5/8 inches. Lucite cabs are about 25 millimeters; largest aqua blue rhinestones, 6 millimeters. Weight of the bracelet is a substantial 120 grams.
