Jet Black art glass marquises and navette rhinestones in tandem with chaton aurora borealis rhinestones form the base of this '60s vintage dangly dazzler from D & E. Twelve faceted glass beads in black and clear aurora borealis dangle from four distinctive riveted, square wires, a DeLizza & Elster characteristic construction feature. Open backed marquises, rhinestone and bead dangle design and overall presentation are signatures of D & E's work.

The silver tone brooch measures approximately 1 7/8 inches across with a maximum 3/4 inch profile or height. Art glass marquises are about 15 millimeters x 7 millimeters; glass beads, 8 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is 24 grams.

Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. All rhinestones intact, retaining ab finish and sparkle. No chips, nicks, cracks or breaks to art glass, rhinestones or beads. Some minor ab finish wear on clear crystal beads. No dents or improper bends to metal components. All soldering and riveting secure. Silver tone finish intact, front and back. Pin mechanism secure. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.

The brooch is unsigned. It's design, construction, materials and overall presentation are characteristic DeLizza & Elster. Circa 1960s.
