Classic Miriam Haskell. Old school, meticulous workmanship, hand assembles and wires tiny baby blue glass beads and simulated baroque seed pearls around a central imitation baroque pearl cabochon in these '50s vintage button style clip earrings from the House of Haskell. Reverses feature the signature Haskell silver tone filigree cover plates and long paddle flat back clips.
The earrings measure about 1 inch across with a 1/2 inch profile or height. Center round cab is approximately 13 millimeters; blue glass beads, 3 millimeters. Weight of the earrings pair if 20 grams.
Condition is very good to excellent vintage. All components original and intact. All beads securely wired, Imitation pearls retain nacre and luster. No dents or improper bends to metal components. There is substantial patina (some would call wear) to the silver tone finishes, quite common in similar Haskell metals from this period. Finishes are dark in some areas -- mostly on reverses. We have left as originally found. Fronts present beautifully. Earring clips strong and secure. Clean. Age commensurate wear to metal finishes only. Clean. No damage / no repairs. Very good to excellent vintage.
Each original earring clip is signed: "MIRIAM HASKELL". Circa 1950s.
The expertise of early Haskell. Particular, precise and just about perfect. At Cody's.
