Bilateral golden serpentine chains suspend a fixed red and pink rhinestone and art glass pendant in this sensational '50s vintage stationary bolo style choker necklace. Leafy filigree overlays and rhinestone rosettes arch over the central oval red faceted glass stone. Snake chain fringe dangles, capped with filigree leaves enveloping pink pear shaped rhinestones. Red rhinestone dangles complete.
The necklace measures a fixed approximate 15 inches with fold over clasp. The pendant portion is an additional 3 1/2 inches x 1 3/8 inches at it's widest point with a maximum 5/8 inch profile or height. Pendant proper is about 1 1/2 inches x 1 3/8 inches. Oval stone is 25 millimeters x 18 millimeters; marquises, 15 millimeters x 7 millimeters. Weight of the necklace is about 34 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. All rhinestones intact, retaining colors and brilliance. No cloudy or dead stones. Center oval ruby red art glass stone (unfoiled and open backed) free from chips, nicks, cracks or breaks. All stones secure within pronged settings. Sinuous snake chains free from kinks or pulls.
