Ravishing red dentelle faceted chaton rhinestones fire up these '40s vintage short flat back clip earrings from Miriam Haskell. Decorative brass tone prongs spike inward while multi level arms jut out, each set with a brilliant red chaton rhinestone. Top section is wired to a filigree back plate. Clips are Haskell's short flat back style.
The earrings measure approximately 1 inch across with a 1/2 inch profile or height. Center dentelles (French for lace) are about 8 millimeters; peripheral chatons, 2 millimeters. Weight of the earrings pair is 12 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact, complete and correct. No dents, bends, or repositioned components. Pronged dentelle stones with their extra facets for maximum fire free from chips, nicks, cracks or breaks. Intense red color and brilliance retained in dentelles and chatons. No off or dead stones.
