Clusters of gold tone filigree capped faceted teal aurora borealis glass beads and faux pearls dangle in this wonderful '50s-'60s vintage pair of clip earrings by Bergere. The bouquet is bound at stems by a trio of coils. Stems curl up and out at various levels allowing beads to dangle in cluster like fashion.
Herbert & Pohs, Inc. of New York City made Bergere jewelry, circa 1940s-1979. The jewelry may have been produced in Providence, Rhode Island. Amtel purchased the company in 1972.
The earrings measure approximately 2 inches long x 1 1/4 inches wide. Blue / green aurora borealis glass beads and simulated pearls are about 11 millimeters. Weight of the earrings pair is 32 grams.
