The French clip earrings are delicately sprinkled with tiny faux seed pearls and rosettes overlaid with brass tone floral and foliage metalwork topped by sparkling clear chaton rhinestones. Earlier Haskell with multi wired components, attached filigree back plate and French clips, they date circa late '40s-mid '50s.
The earrings measure approximately 1 inch x 7/8 inch with a 3/8 inch profile or height. Largest chaton rhinestones are about 4 millimeters. Weight of the earrings pair is 12 grams.
Condition is very good to excellent vintage. All components intact. All simulated seed pearls intact. Nacre and luster intact with minimal wear to a few pearls. Gold tone finish has brass tone patina. All rhinestones intact and sparkling. Earrings clips secure. One ear wire has slight bend, not affecting function. All component wiring appears secure. Clean with age commensurate patina / tarnish. Very good to excellent vintage.
Reverse of each earring is signed on a slightly raised back: "MIRIAM HASKELL". Circa 1940s-1950s.
