In a romantic floral and foliage design with a bezel set oblong faceted art glass stone in the favorite amethyst color of the period, this late 1800s-early 1900s brass sash pin exemplifies the taste and tone of the Victorian era. With the requisite curls and curves, flower blossoms on sinewy stems gracefully flank the rich purple glass stone.
The brooch measures approximately 3 inches x 2 inches with a 3/8 inch profile or height. Faux amethyst stone (unfoiled and open back set) is about 32 millimeters x 12 millimeters. Weight of the pin is 26 grams.
