Four gold tone, rhinestone set rosettes peak above a sea of teal and green marquise and pear shaped art glass stones and Montana blue chaton rhinestones in this marvelous '60s vintage gold tone brooch. All stones, save rosette rhinestones and blue chaton rhinestones are unfoiled and open back set. The work reminds us of a famous maker with it's distinctive design, colors and construction features.
The brooch measures a generous approximate 2 5/8 inches x 1 7/8 inches at it's widest point with a maximum 1/2 inch profile or height. Blue chaton rhinestones are about 9 millimeters; rosettes, 10 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is 22 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. All rhinestones and art glass stones intact and sparkly. No chips, nicks, cracks or breaks to stones. No dents or improper bends to metal components. All soldering secure. All gold tone finish intact, front and back. Pin mechanism secure. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
The brooch is an unsigned beauty. Many characteristics reminiscent of a major famous maker's work. Circa 1960s.
