Trifari's burnished gold tone crescent clip earring curl up the ear, climber style, embellished with lustrous simulated pearls, clear chaton and powder blue marquise rhinestones. Circa early 1950s, the earrings are from Trifari's "Pat. Pend." years -- before copyrights became the norm. The company's imitation pearls were at their zenith, seen in myriad colors and combinations in necklaces, bracelets, brooches, and earrings.
The earrings presented measure approximately 1 inch x 3/4 inch with a 1/2 inch profile or height. Largest pearls are about 6 millimeters. Weight of the earrings pair is 10 grams.
Condition is excellent / near pristine vintage. All components original and intact. All faux pearls retrain nacre and luster. No chips, cracks or pealing. All clear chaton rhinestones uniformly brilliant. Blue marquises retain color and sparkle. Burnished gold tone finish with age appropriate patina intact, fronts and backs. Earring clips strong and secure. Extremely clean. Near pristine vintage.
Each original earring clip signed "TRIFARI" and "PAT. PEND.". Circa early 1950s.
