Spectacular vintage red art glass cabochon and clear rhinestone pendant dangle earrings by Lancetti offer a rare glimpse into the the jewelry of high fashion Italian designer Guiseppe (Pino) Lancetti (1932-2007). Top portion of the clip earrings feature a ruby red glass cabochon surrounded by a row of clear chaton rhinestones. A bezel set chaton rhinestone bail supports a free swinging large domed pendant drop studded with clear chaton rhinestones.

The earrings measure a generous 3 inches long. Bottom domed dangle is about 1 1/4 inches across with a 5/8 inch dome. Lobe portion is approximately 1 1/8 inches across. Red glass cab is about 11 millimeters. Weight of the earrings pair is a substantial 58 grams. (Please note that these earrings are heavy and although the clips are very strong and tight, comfort clip grips may be advantageous.)

Condition is very good to excellent vintage. All stones intact and sparkly. Red glass cabs retain color and glow. No chips, nicks, cracks or breaks to stones. No dents or improper bends to metal. There is some finish wear to reverse of earrings, notably on top portion. This section is more silver tone while the bottom dangles retain a gold tone finish. All connections secure. Earring clips strong and secure. Clean. No damage / no repairs. Age commensurate wear to reverses. Very good to excellent vintage.

Reverse of each earring body is signed: "LANCETTI". Circa 1960-1980s.
