A buckle beyond compare! At 4 inches x 3 inches this massive two piece gold tone clip together will be the crown jewel on any belt you choose. From masters Delizza & Elster, circa 1970s the buckle's distinctive design including curlicues as well as it's back hard ware are consistent with the work of D & E. It is laden with clear marquise and variously sized chaton rhinestones throughout. As a belt buckle -- fun and functional. Repurpose it for even more opulent options.
The buckle measures approximately 4 inches x 3 inches. For attachment purposes buckle's double hasps on reverse are about 2 1/2 inches wide with approximately 1/2 inch clearance. Space between double rods is about 3/8 inch. Largest chaton rhinestones are 11 millimeters; marquises, 15 millimeters x 7 millimeters. Weight of the assembled buckle is a hefty 110 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. All rhinestones intact and sparkly. Stones have consistent vintage brilliance. They will not appear brand new. Gold tone finish intact, front and back. Small amount of gold tone wear on clip connection not seen when worn. All soldering secure. Attachment rods retain shape, loft and secure solder. Belt clip at center strong and secure. No dents, improper bends, crush or collapse to metal components. Very clean. No damage / no repairs. Minimal wear. Excellent vintage.
