Myriad molded white glass flower blossoms with red dotted centers sprout from golden wires in Hattie Carnegie's '50s-'60s vintage bouquet brooch. At top finely textured leafy foliage caps the multiple stems. A shiny gold tone ribbon swoops below. The quintessential Carnegie charmer.
The brooch measures approximately 2 3/8 inches x 2 inches with a maximum 3/4 inch profile or height. Molded glass flower blossoms are about 8 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is approximately 26 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All blossoms free from chips, nicks, cracks or breaks. Red centers intact. All flowers remain chalk white with no stains or discoloration. Stems (wires) are gathered and soldered in place on reverse. They will flex or bend if manipulated. All gold tone finishes intact, front and back. No dents or improper bends to rigid metal components. Pin mechanism strong and secure. Extremely clean. Excellent vintage.
Reverse of brooch is signed within an oval cartouche in familiar script "Hattie Carnegie". Circa 1950s-1960s.
