'50s-'60s vintage large white milk glass earrings climb the ear in a burst of marquise and round cabochons trailing with beads. Chalk white glass cabs and beads are set in pewter tone or gun metal finished settings for added definition. Sometimes called summer or cruise jewelry, white can now be right anytime of the year.
The clip earrings measure an impressive 1 7/8 inches x 1 3/8 inches at their widest point with a 3/8 inch profile or height. Marquise cabs are approximately 15 millimeters x 7 millimeters; largest round cabs, about 8 millimeters. Weight of the earrings pair is 20 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. All glass beads free from chips, nicks, cracks, stains or breaks. All uniformly white and lustrous. All settings / soldering secure. Long arm clips strong and secure. Gun metal finish retains rich patina. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
The earrings are not signed. They exhibit the characteristics of a high end maker. Very well designed and constructed. Circa 1950s-1960s.
