Incredible dimension , color and sparkle come together in this '60s vintage gold tone shooting star rhinestone brooch. The star burst features a high rise domed profile aglitter with marquise and chaton rhinestones in purple, ice blue, and olivine. Double rigid or stiffened golden chains arc off culminating in a quartet of olivine chaton rhinestones. At center of arc rests a large oval watermelon tourmaline rhinestone flashing greens, pinks and hints of gold. An absolutely mesmerizing brooch full or color and life. Presents beautifully.

The brooch measures approximately 2 1/8 inches across with a generous 3/4 inch maximum profile. Large center chaton is about 11 millimeters; marquises, 15 millimeters x 7 millimeters and oval, 18 millimeters x 13 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is approximately 22 grams.

Condition is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. All rhinestones retain color and sparkle. No cloudy or dead stones. No chips, nicks, cracks or breaks to stones. All soldering neat and secure. No dents, improper dents, crush or collapse. All gold tone finish intact, front and back. Pin mechanism secure. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
