Beautiful colors and cuts abound in this 1960s vintage rhinestone garland necklace and matching earrings demi in goldtone. Six crisscrossed clear rhinestone garland stations grace the necklace. Topaz colored baguette rhinestones accent one end of each station. A third shorter garland swags from the top of each station, filled with chaton cut rhinestones in hyacinth. The centerpiece consists of rake set baguette rhinestones and two pear shaped rhinestones set in the middle, all in topaz. Matching clip earrings have a garland of clear rhinestones at bottom accented with a single chaton rhinestone in topaz. Clear rhinestones fill center of earring. Topaz colored baguette rhinestones flare out at top crowned with a single pear shaped rhinestone in topaz. Quality design, stone mix, color coordination and finish work.
The necklace is adjustable to about 15 inches with hook style closure. Decorative center spans approximately 5 3/4 inches. Width varies from about 5/8 inch to 7/8 inch. Profile or height is about 1/4 inch. Earrings are about 1 1/16 inches x 7/8 inch.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. All clear rhinestone brilliant with no dark, yellow, cloudy or dead stones. Colored stones maintain warm topaz and hyacinth shades. All goldtone finishes intact, front and back. Earring clips secure. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
