Parklane, founded by Arthur and Shirley LeVin in Chicago, circa 1955, was sold through individual representatives. The combination brooch / pendant example presented, circa 1960s, features a gold tone trumpet style (almost like a horn of plenty or cornucopia) flower blossom cascading with a waterfall of faceted glass beads, attached via hook and eye on fully articulated ladder / lattice work. Beads sections are in aurora borealis finished luscious shades of purple, fuchsia and pink.
The pin / pendant is a generous approximate 3 1/2 inches x 1 3/4 inches at it's widest point with a 1/2 inch profile or height. Glass beads are about 7 millimeters. Weight of the piece is approximately 28 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. All glass beads free from chips, nicks, cracks or breaks. All ab finish intact. Superb sparkle and glow. All articulation aligned -- beads properly attached. All gold tone finish intact, front and back. No dents, improper bends, crush or collapse to metal components. Large reverse, concealed pendant loop retains round shape -- generous 1/4 inch diameter accommodates most chains. Pin mechanism secure. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
Reverse of brooch is signed within a rectangular cartouche: "PARKLANE". Circa 1960s.
