From Original by Robert's popular enamel floral line of the 1960s sprouts this large green stemmed petal blossom in glossy pink with stamen's filaments in yellow, anthers in black. Brooch's reverse is in lustrous gold tone. The power's in the flower and this botanical beauty packs a pretty punch.
Fashioncraft Jewelry Company, founded in 1942, changed it's name to Robert Originals in 1960. A variation, "Original by Robert" was used from 1942 to the late 1970s. Robert Levy's earlier work is often associated with Miriam Haskell due to the uncanny similarity of materials and workmanship. The firm's later work diverted -- enamels creating an important niche in the 1960s-70s.
