The floral and foliage engraving / embossing on the links of this 1950s-1960s vintage necklace and earrings set is totally top notch. The matte blue enamel undercoat accentuates the embossing as well as the blue rhinestones. Check out the close-ups to zoom in on the outstanding detail and depth. Enamel and rhinestone coordination is incredible. The five embossed / enameled links in the necklace are spaced with double looped links (think charm bracelet style links) that are basket / prong set with gorgeous blue emerald cut rhinestones. Smaller charm bracelet type double links lead to a hook style closure and charmed end. Matching clip earrings have the blue rhinestone at top with dangling engraved link.
The necklace is adjustable to about 15 1/2 inches. Decorative center spans approximately 8 inches and is 3/4 inch wide. The links have a "swoop" or curve to them. They are not flat. Necklace stones are about 9 millimeters x 7 millimeters. The earrings are approximately 2 1/4 inches x 3/4 inch. Earring stones are about 8 millimeters x 5 millimeters. Weight of the set is approximately 88 grams.
Condition is pristine vintage. All components original and intact. All silvertone finishes intact, front and back. Enamel undercoat intact. All rhinestones retain even blue color and amazing brilliance. Soldering neat and secure. Earring clips strong and secure. No damage / no repairs. As fresh and fashionable as when created. Although there's no signature, this is obviously high quality work from a talented designer.
