Graduated briolette and faceted round crystal glass beads pair beautifully in this '50s vintage single strand necklace with silver end pieces by Beau Sterling ( Beaucraft, Inc., circa 1947-2004.) The princess length necklace begins with a sterling silver spring ring closure and two flat topped oval jump rings by Beau Sterling. Faceted round crystals make way for graduated, crisply faceted briolette teardrops. A large faceted round rests at center of necklace. Perfect harmony and balance in sparkling clarity.
The necklace is a fixed approximately 17 inches with spring ring clasp. Beads range from 6 millimeters to 18 millimeters. Largest round bead is 14 millimeters. Weight of the necklace is approximately 38 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. All crystal glass beads free from chips, nicks, cracks or breaks. No scratches or abrasions. Sharp, clean facets and crystal clear definition. Necklace appears securely strung with no slack or over pull. It is the original stringing so time may compromise strength. Sterling clasp strong and secure. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
The two end rings are each signed: "BEAU STERLING". The clasp itself is signed: "STERLING". Design, materials, workmanship and overall presentation suggest a 1950s vintage.
