Joseph Warner, circa 1953-1971, often associated with fruit, animal, insect, floral and foliage pieces in japanned settings (matte black enamel like) produced jewelry from circa 1953-1971. Since inventory was limited to a run date of approximately 20 years examples are quite rare. Quality is excellent.
The brooch and earrings demi presented, circa 1960s, features high domed japanned settings pronged with deep Siam ruby colored chaton rhinestones. The brooch adds a leafy stem set with two sizes of green marquise rhinestones. Please note that colors may appear differently on independent monitors and / or in person.
The brooch measures about 1 3/4 inches x 1 inch with a generous 5/8 inch profile or dome. Matching button style clip earrings are approximately 1 inch across with a 1/2 inch dome. Red chaton rhinestones are about 4 millimeters. Largest marquise brooch rhinestones are approximately 10 millimeters x 5 millimeters. Weight of the pin and earrings set is about 26 grams.
