This is a very beautiful Antique French Silver Walking Stick Handle from 19th Century. Elegant ebony stem with solid silver grip end. Silver part has unique and sophisticated carved T shape, finely embellished with Fleur de Lis snacks and spiral snake. The shape fits very well to your hand and easy to hold. Hallmarked French Boar's Head silver guaranteed mark, used in Paris since 1838, and maker's mark of Charled Guerrier, 37 rue Saint-Merri, active since 1841 (date of the mark struck-off is unknown.) Fabulous collectible piece!

2 5/8 inches (6.7 cm) wide x 8 inches (20 cm) long. Weight 1.94 oz (55 grams.)
Very Good Used Condition. Trace of light use, some age-related dimple-like dents here and there on the silver. A short hairline crack on the ebony stem (toward the upper side,) only visible on very close inspection. Otherwise in quite good condition as its age and ready for use.
