This lovely 8pc set is finely crafted in highest quality French sterling silver, gorgeously decorated with shell motifs and contoured pattern on the handles. Elegant interlaced monogram MD on the spatula.
Hallmarked 1. French Michel-Ange No.1 mark, guaranteed at least 950/1000 purity sterling silver (higher than standard 925 sterling!) used in Paris between 1819-1838. 2. Control mark of City of Paris. 3. Silversmith Victoria Josephine GODOT, active at 380 rue St. Denis between 1832-1836. 4. French Minerva No.1 Mark, probably re-controlled on public auction in the past.
