Offered for your consideration here is this fabulous Antique French Sterling Silver Flatware Set from early 19th Century. The set comprising Fork, Spoon and Knife, and the fork and spoon are nicely housing in an antique presentation case. The fork and spoon have elegant Double-Fillet pattern, and true to classic French style, the bowl and tines are extremely large. Initials S.P on the handle. Hallmarked French Michael-Ange silver mark used in Paris between 1819-1838, guarantees 950/1000 purity sterling silver (higher than standard 925 sterling.) The knife is adorned with sterling silver ferrule in gorgeous Rococo style. The blade marked SABATIER RUE ST HONORE 84 A PARIS.

Fork 20.3 cm (8 inch) long x 3 cm (1.2 inch) wide. Spoon 21 cm (8.3 inch) long x 4.5 cm (1.8 inch) wide. Knife 25 cm (9.8 inch) long x 2.5 cm (1 inch) wide.
Total weight of sterling silver 166.4 grams (5.87 oz)
The spoon and fork are in Excellent Condition considering their age. Less than usual age-related light scratch marks. The knife has one hairline crack on the handle, and some stains on the blade, should be cleaned or polished. The box is not original to the set (it can contain only spoon and fork) but fits. Open/close hinge works perfectly.
