For your consideration, a circa 21st century century ceramic bowl by the noted California ceramicist Darrin Ekern. The free-form extruded work features an interior splatter dash blue-green and gray polychrome interior glaze and an unglazed beige exterior. The bowl most certainly was created in the Northern California art colony of Mendocino, and the piece reflects the unique tide pool colors and rugged coastline features of that locale. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, nicks, or scratches, and measures 7 ¾” long, 4” tall, and 5 ½” wide.
