For your consideration, a rare Crown Staffordshire flame ceramic vase, circa 1906-1920’s. The unusual flambé glaze is most probably the work of Bernard Moore or E.R. Wilkes, who each collaborated with Crown Staffordshire in the development of exotic glazing processes. The vase measures 18cm tall and is 11cm in diameter, and is in superb condition with virtually no signs of wear, with no chips or nicks. The vase’s design and execution are both flawless. Identified with the early 20th century maker’s back stamp. A very rare example of Crown Staffordshire flambé glaze and a worthy addition to your collection of 20th century ceramic art.
