For your consideration, a signed studio glass vase by Williams, circa 1974. The vase measures 3 1/2" and 1 1/2" in diameter, and is marked "Williams '74". The piece still has its "Alder House II" label, and is in excellent condition with no damage and features a swirled iridescent silver oxide within Vaseline-style glass. Buzz Williams moved to the Oregon coast in 1968 and built the first Alder House the next year. It was short lived as it burned down the following spring; in 1971 the second studio was built and opened. This fine vase is from that early period of Adler House glass and a noteworthy example of 20th century American studio art glass.
