For your considertion, a fine mid-century ceramic vase by the Danish pottery studio Palshus, circa 1950's. This Chamotte stoneware vase features incised geometric patterns and a green over beige glossy glaze on the main body with touquoise glaze to upper tapered body and neck. The vase measures 11 1/2" (29 cm) tall and 3 3/8" (8.3 cm) wide, and is identified on the base with incised "Palshus Denmark APLS C5" with handpainted "D/7P". The work is in mint condition, with no chips or damage. Palshus was established by Per Linneman-Schmidt and his wife Annelise in Taastrup in 1948, and the vase being offered is from the apex years of their creative work.
