For your consideration, a vintage 1973 multi-medium assemblage created in wood, glass, acrylic and pencil and signed "Curtis". The subject is "temptation"; the devil is tempting a robust femme with the infamous "apple". Yes, this is 1970's Los Angeles 20th century art in at its feisty-finest. I personally unscrewed this piece from the kitchen wall of a LA based art collector's estate. Lord forgive me, but I felt you should have it in your life to remind you of ... "things", you know. The workmanship is absolutely first rate; the drawings are sure and strong and the mahogany frame, with the painting and drawing sandwiched between two panes of glass. I have not been able to find any documentation on the artist; I suspect he or she (I suspect a he) was an accomplished cartoonist or graphic artist. The piece is in excellent condition, and totally wonderful!
