For your consideration, two pendants in mixed metal, circa 1970’s. The larger of the two pieces is created in brass with what appears to be a sterling silver strap over a central metallic detail. The disk measures 3” in diameter and features a copper loop (welded). The second pendant measures 2” in diameter and features a cutwork brass front and a copper back. The cutwork is highly stylized in the modernist manner and features interior details displaying a metallic dot on a creased metal background (possibly sterling silver). The loop is sterling silver. Both pendants were acquired in the community of Mendocino, California, a community noted for its long history of jewelry artists, glassworks, ceramics, painting and woodworking.
